Like most industry events over the past year, the 13th annual American Food Innovate Summit is going virtual.
The conference, scheduled for March 29-30, is the largest in the show’s history. With over 70 speakers from leading companies alongside the most innovative, disruptive brands in the industry. Speakers will discuss their stories, successes, and struggles and how they’re adapting to market volatility.
In addition to a wealth of case studies and panel discussions, Food Innovate features several Solution Spotlights, including one led by TraceGains CEO Gary Nowacki. Gary’s session, titled “How Networked Product Development Drives Better, Faster Innovation,” highlights how the TraceGains Networked Product Development Suite orchestrates product development from concept through production. Gary will discuss how the software accelerates research, recipe iteration, claims verification, and change management, allowing teams to go from manual processes to automated results. And how teams can share data with TraceGains and existing PLM systems for complete product and supply chain visibility or handle it all in TraceGains for less cost and complexity than a full-blow PLM system.
As it has for the last nine years, Food Innovate occurs alongside the American Food Sure Summit. The conference targets food safety professionals looking to shore up their food defense plans.
According to Product Director Gurtej Johal, the summit provides “a forum for industry professionals to share and discuss food safety and regulatory requirements, and good manufacturing and food safety best practices, to strengthen our ecosystem for food safety and regulatory compliance.”
This year’s Food Sure Summit covers topics like:
Establishing a food defense plan.
Dealing with product recalls effectively.
Conducting a supply chain risk assessment.
Tools for achieving compliance with food safety laws and regulations.
Achieving, maintaining, and improving product quality.
Engaging with the workforce in a culture of safety and quality.
Gary will speak at this event, too, illustrating how to “Connect Your Team and Supply Chain to Achieve Transparency.” In this session, Gary will focus on digital transformation. He’ll share how TraceGains connects departments, suppliers, and co-manufacturers over a networked platform that automates and streamlines compliance, quality, and product development business processes while tracking information and document exchange for a complete audit trail. And he’ll also discuss how teams can gain a unified view of their products, supply chain information, and processes no matter how distributed or complex.
