The COVID-19 pandemic has shuttered conferences across the globe, impacted financial markets, and startled consumers everywhere. Nearly every major sports league has suspended operations, including games, with Major League Baseball the latest, when it canceled spring training. This is, in short, a public health crisis most of us have never experienced.
We built TraceGains on a foundation of trust and a commitment to a safe and secure supply chain. It's in that same spirit that we've made the difficult decision to cancel our in-person TGCon 2020 event originally schedled for April 14-15 in Denver, due to the growing public health threat. There's simply nothing more important than the safety and security of our customers, partners, and employees.
Virtual TGCon | August 18-20, 2020
Now, for some good news. This year marks the first virtual TGCon scheduled August 18-20. The complimentary online event is for the entire TraceGains community: customers, suppliers, industry experts, and partners, from executives to end-users and everyone in between.
Interactive and hosted by the new TraceGains Academy, the event features live-streamed industry roundtables, thought-leadership videos, Q&A sessions, customer use case webinars, and certification training, delivered over three days. And designed to give you the flexibility to select the sessions and time that work best for you.
TraceGains User Awards 2020
Although we’ll no longer have an in-person awards ceremony, we’re moving forward with the program, which attracted a record number of nominations this year. The awards recognize the people and teams who achieve significant business impact with TraceGains solutions. The window for submissions has closed, and award finalists were selected the first week of March. Winners will be announced as planned, on April 14th.
Award categories include:
Collaboration Award: For collaboration among departments and with suppliers through the use of TraceGains solutions.
Network Award: For dedication to using TraceGains Network to connect across the supply chain to revolutionize information exchange.

Refunding Registration Fees
Our event management solutions provider, Cvent, has been instructed to proceed immediately with refunds. They've informed us, not surprisingly, that their systems and people are overwhelmed with event cancellations. So while refunds will happen, they can't commit to a specific timeframe. We'll continue to ask that they do their best to accelerate the process.
