    Meet the TraceGains Leadership Team

    Gary Nowacki, CEO

    Gary Nowacki is the CEO of TraceGains. Gary joined TraceGains in January 2008 after spending the prior 13 years in a variety of software industry executive positions in the ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning), Supply Chain Management, and Quality space for Food & Beverage, Consumer Packaged Goods, Pharmaceuticals, and other process industries. Prior to that, Gary held management and individual contributor positions in programming, implementation services, and sales in the ERP software business. Gary’s prior work experience includes serving in senior management roles at CDC Software – Ross Systems, a leading ERP supplier to the food industry.

    William Pape, Co-Founder

    Will Pape is a co-founder of TraceGains. Prior to 1997, he was a VeriFone co-founder, senior manager, and corporate officer for seventeen years from 1982 until 1998, a year after VeriFone’s sale to Hewlett Packard where he helped pioneer electronic credit card processing. Before VeriFone, he actively developed innovative software products for both commercial and government ventures. One of his early commercial products won the first software product of the year award given in 1981 by InfoWorld magazine. Will has also authored numerous monthly magazine columns including the Virtual Manager column for Inc magazine.

    A.J. Dolan, CTO

    A.J. Dolan has been directing engineering operations and system architecture for TraceGains since 1998. He has helped the company develop numerous patents and solutions used throughout the global food supply chain ranging from in-field data collection and traceability systems to cross-enterprise business intelligence platforms. He has over 24 years of IT leadership and experience including developing mission-critical applications used in surgical environments, pioneering spatial database technology and geographical information systems for CATV network design, and creating many K-12 student information and testing systems in use by several states.

    Jennifer Van Meter, VP of Finance and Administration

    Jennifer Van Meter is the head of the finance and administration departments as well as an officer of the Company. She has been with TraceGains and sister companies for the past twelve years. Her responsibilities range in various areas such as corporate finance, administration, and operations of the organization. Prior to joining the company she gained finance experience in the mortgage, IT, and publications industries. She holds a Masters in Accounting degree from the University of Colorado as well as her CPA license.

    Rajan Gupta, VP of Professional Services

    Rajan Gupta joined TraceGains at the beginning of 2010, and is responsible for successfully delivering and implementing TraceGains solutions. He brings over 20 years of IT leadership, consulting and application development expertise focused mainly in process manufacturing, supply chain, and retail industries. Prior to TraceGains, Rajan has held key leadership roles in Professional Services and Product Development. Rajan has valued experience in Food & Beverage industry best practices; enterprise, mid-market and global ERP implementation strategies, and business centered technology solutions. He has a deep understanding of implementation and architecture best practices and has centered much of his career enhancing business processes through innovative technology solutions.

    David Schoenfeld, VP of Sales

    David brings to TraceGains 20 years of experience in technology sales, sales management, and expertise in the areas of computer systems and applications, eCommerce marketing, SaaS Sales, and eCommerce application development and sales strategies. Prior to joining TraceGains, David headed the Global Sales and Marketing efforts for Ugam Solutions, focused on providing online marketing solutions and SaaS technologies for the world’s top retailers, brands, and media companies. David was also the Director of Software Sales at Oerlikon-Melco where he was responsible for business development, application development, and product launch of the LiveDesigner technology for the global market. David holds a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Information Technology from Colorado Technical University, Denver.

    Marc Simony, VP of Marketing

    Marc is a holistic brand thinker. He joined TraceGains in the spring of 2008. As head of marketing he continuously searches out best practices, stays atop new market and marketing developments, and relishes in devising corporate and competitive strategies that unhinge the competition. Marc graduated cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa with a B.A. in Communication from the University of New Hampshire, and has earned an MBA with distinction in Global Management from The Thunderbird School of Global Management. He writes a strategic marketing blog, still listens to vinyl, and cooks Southeast Asian dishes on weekends.

    Board of Directors

    Dallas Ross, Partner and Founder, Kinetic Capital Partners

    Prior to founding Kinetic Capital Partners, Mr. Ross was Managing Director, Investment Banking and, prior to that, Managing Director, Mergers & Acquisitions with ScotiaMcLeod Inc. where he started in 1985.

    Bill Melton, General Partner, GIV Venture Partners

    For more than 30 years, Bill has been an entrepreneur building global technology companies. In the early 80’s, Bill founded VeriFone, the transaction automation company that has made credit authorization terminals ubiquitous, and in the early 90’s, joined as an early investor and as Director of the Board of America Online. Bill has also held positions as Chairman and CEO of Cybercash, a pioneer in e-commerce transaction systems, and, in 1994, he co-founded Transaction Network Services (NASDAQ: TNSI), a nationwide network dedicated to efficient transportation of financial transactions.
